Patients understandably have some anxieties about their surgical experience. Concerns range from: ”When do I show up” to ”What happens if I don't wake up?” Fortunately, Ambulatory Surgery Centers have been a means to provide patients with a safe outpatient experience and quickly get them on to their recovery.
A patient volunteered to allow us to follow him through the steps of his entire surgical experience, and document it, so that you might have a better idea of what the surgical process will be like and therefore be more at ease. He was having shoulder surgery.
