Stop 1: Pre-Op Nurse

Generally, a few days BEFORE your surgery, you will go to the ambulatory surgery center and have a pre-operative counselling session with the Pre-Op Nurse (Connie, below). She reviews your medical history and evaluates your case with regard to needed medical care and anesthesia care. This can take anywhere from 30 - 60 minutes.
